I’m Kellz, and I’ll be doing album reviews, maybe shine a light on newer and more underground bands, talk about online trends in the metal community, and share other content creator’s passion for the worlds’ most insane music. Maybe even down the road I’ll roast your band’s music (that’s right, I’m looking at you, Mr. I’m-here-’cos-Joe-Rogan-talked-about-it)!
Why I Chose Substack
Making a YouTube video and fighting the algorithm on any other platform is near impossible. I’m hoping Substack is the utopia social media that I think it is.
I’m also lazy and don’t have a lot of time, so writing is the easiest way for me to quickly pump out content. I’m also not smart enough to quickly edit video and audio content…yet.
THIS BISH IS FREE
I do also work a 8-5 job and have a tiny art side hustle, so keeping up with this Substack will be my second passion project in my off-time…and I do have friends and a life.
I’d LOVE to focus more on writing and creating stuff for you guys and start making more content aimed towards you. For example, it would be epic to start “roasting” your bands’ music and listening to bands you recommend and write more conversational pieces.
But that definitely takes a lot of time. And time is money! But I’ll wait until I hit the 1,000 reader mark as that will require a lot more of my time and efforts to YOU, dear reader.
